This professional business networking group facilitates these connections, bringing together executives and business owners across all industries in San Diego. Among these professionals is our very own Jill Schultz. She attended an event last night and was able to make a lot of great connections! Allow me to introduce myself- my name is Denise, and I am Jill’s new assistant here at Cater To You! I am a young professional looking to break into the event planning industry. I was very lucky to find that Jill was looking to hire at Cater To You. She’s very much supportive of me and facilitating my professional growth in this industry and with her company. I’m very grateful for this opportunity and know I will learn a great deal from Jill.

What drew me to Cater To You was Jill’s dedication to the customer. One of the things she really emphasized during my interview was customer service and her principle that the customer is always right. In this day and age of technology and fast-paced environments, the customer can easily get lost in the flow. It’s important to remember that the success of any business all depends on the customers. On top of that, she is willing to donate a percentage of the proceeds from a customer’s order to their choice of charity!

We’ve all been customers of something, and great customer service really does make a difference in a customer’s experience. Jill Schultz, President of Cater To You is currently look for a Board of Advisors.  She is seeking professionals to help compliment Cater To You: A lawyer, certified public accountant, marketing consultant, writer computer consultant, sales executive, and a local physician.  The goal is to find a diverse group who can give a better perspective, while each bringing their own positive insight to the table.

Jill’s Joke of the Week: A drunk walks into a bar and orders a drink.  The bartender says, “No drunks allowed. Please leave.” The drunk walks out the front door, then comes in the side door, sits down, and orders a drink.  The bartender says, “We don’t serve drunks!” The drunk goes out the side door, comes back in the front door, sits down, and yet again orders a drink.  The bartender says “I won’t serve you!” The drunk says, “How many bars do you work at?”

We hired Jill’s Cater To You service for our parents’ 40th wedding anniversary party (approx. 80 guests) and it was one of the most successful events we’ve had! She was a pleasure to work with and very professional and fun from start to finish! She and her staff were on time and prepped for the event efficiently and smoothly! Her service staff were absolutely great (they were polite, friendly, helpful and fun) and the food was wonderful!! Jill even took the time to take some pictures of the party for us! If there were any problems or issues that occurred during the party, we sure didn’t know it. The entire event went so smoothly from set-up to the clean-up at the end. We are still getting compliments from our guests—they all said it was an amazing party and they were so impressed with everything! Our parents (who have thrown their own catered parties and have attended many of them) even said that the catering staff was the best they have seen!
